My Christmas at home

Holidays are on the corner, it is a time to spend and share time with family, and we can have fun a lot. I can say that December is one of my favorite months of the year, even though July is the month of my birthday.

It is due to, in December, all my family comes from different cities to visit my grandmother and have a good meeting. So in that way, we have long conversations about their past naughtiness, the last adventures, our presents projects, and our future dreams. 

Traditionally we have the custom of praying the novena for Christmas, which my mother organizes. She starts on December 15th and ends on December 23th with some Christmas carols and some sweets desserts like cake, cookies, and flan. After that, my aunts organize the Christmas dinner. It's fun to see how my aunts plan themselves because they hardly ever agree, and in the end, they opt for the craziest idea of ​​some guy that reaches the end of the conversation. The truth of all of this to me is amusing. What I like the most about Christmas dinner is when we all prepare the table in the courtyard, and everyone goes to sit there to eat together without first thanking God for the blessings given during all this time.
